I am becoming Known
By becoming known before the book deal, I will not only have greater sales once published, but I will also have a much greater chance of being noticed by agents and publishers.
Believe it or not, just as I have a unique writing voice born out of my life's unique experiences, I also have unique gifts, abilities, and skills which blend with my writing interests. They are what make me what I am.
These skills are often things that I find easy. Not everyone is good at these same things. I have have many talents, and I will choose an area of expertise that can help me become known before the book deal, which may help me relate to you.
Take my interest, for example in Extreme Crochet. This is a life skill that is just beginning to become popular with the younger generation. My 15th century historical characters couldn't resist the early form of this--both the Ladies and the Gentlemen. Read my books for more...
I will share with you over the following weeks the modern version--Extreme Crochet. I will teach you how to transform the thread, how to hone the hook, how to project the patterns, so your hands hover with heightened hyperactivity over the widening work, while your family and friends stare in amazement and total disbelief.
In Next Week's Blog...
I will share with you the introductory techniques of :
- The trilobial terra-tuck
- The extended e-zine stitch, and
- The furious fast fold
